Finance Accountant for Retail Beauty Division

About the Role

This position is within the Retail Beauty Division's Finance function, reporting into the Assistant Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the supplier funding process, including reviewing and uploading funding forms, and calculating amounts owed by brands.
  • Collaborate with buying teams and provide support on brand queries and requests.
  • Produce accurate and insightful weekly reports on funding and concession.
  • Assist in the billing process, invoicing brands for marketing income on a timely basis.
  • Support the wider finance team in daily reporting.
  • Participate in month-end activities, posting journals, and reviewing costs.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified accountancy status, preferably working towards ACA, CIMA, or ACCA certification.
  • Experience in management accounting, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
