About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in a one-to-one or small group setting, focusing on KS3/KS4 Science subjects.
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of learners with complex requirements, including SEN, SEMH, and other needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
