An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Facilities Services Team at the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Facilities Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer-focused service. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the required standard of cleaning services following established procedures and frequencies.
  • Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with ward/area/location cleaning schedules, including operating specialist equipment.
  • Carrying out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties as required.
Key Responsibilities

The post holder will provide a range of housekeeping duties, including:

  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with National Cleaning Standards, infection control, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Working as part of the wider Housekeeping team to provide an integrated and flexible service.
  • Undertaking tasks within other areas of the Hotel Services Department as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A basic knowledge of chemicals and cleaning products.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and visitors.
