{"Job Title": "Senior Tax Manager", "Job Summary": "We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Brighton. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns, and undertaking annual tax compliance work. You will also support tax planning work, build trusted client relationships, and support junior team members by reviewing their work and providing training.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a varied client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
* Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
* Prepare and review VAT returns.
* Undertake annual tax compliance work, including P11Ds, ATED returns, and employment related returns.
* Support tax planning work.
* Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
* Support junior team members by reviewing work and providing training.
* Work closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
* Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.

**Requirements:**

* ACCA, ACA, or CA qualified with previous experience within practice.
* Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered.
* A proven track record of autonomously managing a portfolio in practice.
* Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Self-motivated and highly organised.
* A team player able to work closely with senior team members.
* Constructive support to junior team members.
* A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn from an experienced team.
