Job Description: Learning Disability Care Worker

Our specialist day centre is looking for a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join their busy care services for young people and adults with moderate and severe SEN and complex needs. This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP. You will be supporting with life skills, work experience, and education activities, including promoting independence amongst the people we support and dealing with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with life skills
- Supporting with homework/study/educational activities
- Promoting independence amongst the people we support
- Supporting people we support with Personal care needs
- Dealing with complex needs

Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communications skills to liaise with other agencies
- Kind, nurturing, and committed individual who is keen to support SEN learners
- Experience working within the care sector (desirable)
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits: £23,500 per annum, plus an attractive employee benefit package, fully funded qualifications, free hot meals, and career development opportunities.
