Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team. As a Technical Author, you will work closely with our engineering team to create high-quality technical documentation that supports assembly and test processes and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Write technical and illustrated content for publications, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain and update quality management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Update technical information and document control, ensuring seamless access to critical documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Background in a technical publications role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide accurate and concise written and verbal communications.
  • Experience using publication software such as Word, Adobe FrameMaker.
  • Proficient with CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Able to relate to people at all levels and maintain business relationships.
