Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish educator to lead our clients' Spanish department to new heights as the Head of Spanish.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Spanish teacher to take on the challenge of leading our Spanish department. As the Head of Spanish, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic and engaging Spanish curriculum, mentoring and supporting a team of Spanish teachers, and overseeing the assessment and tracking of student progress in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive Spanish curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
  • Mentor and support a team of Spanish teachers to enhance their teaching practice and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress and inform teaching and learning.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Teacher status.
  • Degree in Spanish or a related field.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, with a deep understanding of Spanish language, literature, and culture.
  • Creative and innovative approach to curriculum design and delivery, with a commitment to student-centered learning.
