Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Engineer to join our team at FPR Group. As a key member of our technical team, you will provide technical support to our Production and Quality teams, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in our products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical support for Material Review Board (MRB) decisions, including reviewing and evaluating non-conforming materials.
  • Perform Engineering Contract Reviews for existing products, focusing on materials and treatments.
  • Analyze products to ensure material specifications and performance standards are met.
  • Oversee obsolescence activities related to materials and treatments for legacy products.
  • Establish and maintain the product verification matrix, including testing, reviewing, and reporting on material performance.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and develop a working knowledge of existing company products.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • HNC Qualification or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
