Join the Haas F1 Team as a Financial Controller - Supply Chain and take on a challenging role that requires strong financial management skills and a passion for motorsport.
About the RoleThe Financial Controller - Supply Chain will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting matters for the Haas F1 Team group entities. This includes developing staff using effective performance reviews and development plans, assuming responsibilities and duties delegated by the Chief Financial Officer, and overseeing the US-based accounting team.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for all treasury functions, including banking relationships, short-term, and long-term cash flow forecasting.
- Responsible for the end-to-end monthly financial close process from planning to financial reporting.
- Responsible for the timely completion of monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible for all statutory reporting and audits for the Haas F1 Team group entities (US, UK & Italy).
- Provides GAAP and internal control compliance policies and guidance globally.
- Superuser for Microsoft D365 system.
- Responsible for all tax compliance for the Haas F1 Team group entities (US, UK & Italy), including VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE, and Driver Withholding Taxes.
- Responsible for the annual update of the transfer pricing policy.
- Responsible for the preparation of R&D tax credit claims.
- Responsible for the annual group reporting tax submission.
- Develops and maintains robust internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures for all entities within the Haas F1 Team group.
- Line management of Accounting Manager and Senior Financial Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have an ACCA/ACA/CTA qualification with eight years of post-qualification work experience. Previous experience at Financial Controller level, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practical tax experience, including dealing with tax authorities and professional advisors.
Strong financial reporting and tax reporting background, strong internal controls knowledge, and technical accounting skills. US GAAP knowledge of financial and accounting concepts. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Experience with key financial systems, including Microsoft D365 and Power BI.
