Financial Services Administrator

As a Finance Assistant - Full or Part time, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling bank accounts, and assisting with payroll. This role is ideal for someone with experience in accounting software and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
About the Role:
This position involves a range of tasks, including agreement to purchase orders, regular reconciliation of bank accounts and petty cash, organising payment runs, raising sales invoices on a timely basis, monitoring sales and purchase ledger, including credit control, and assisting the accountants with payroll. Additionally, you will be completing reports, looking at variances, and assisting with the calculation of VAT Returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier invoices, including agreement to purchase orders.
- Regular reconciliation of bank accounts and petty cash.
- Organising payment runs.
- Raising sales invoices on a timely basis.
- Regular monitoring of sales and purchase ledger, including credit control.
- Assisting the accountants with payroll.
- Completing reports, including budget analysis work, and looking at variances within this.
- Assisting with the calculation of VAT Returns.
