As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets, including mould and power presses, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance tasks in line with best practices and Health and Safety regulations
  • Provide engineering solutions when immediate spares are not available
  • Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection logs
  • Assist in outage planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Supervise contracted labour when on site
  • Support and mentor apprentices

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical engineering field
  • Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC-controlled plant, and associated equipment
  • Experience working in a fast-moving production environment
  • Willingness to undertake additional specific plant training

Working Hours:

Rotational basis, 5 days a week, with a shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Pay Rate: £21 per hour

Overtime and call-outs possible
