Home Care Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and other conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and develop your knowledge in various areas, such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive care and support to clients in their homes or community settings* Assist with everyday household tasks, personal care, and medication administration* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
* No prior experience in social care is required, but a compassionate and caring approach is essential* Resilience and willingness to learn new skills and develop knowledge are key qualities we look for* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role
