Job Title: SAP FICO Solution Architect

Omega is seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for applying technical changes to the SAP system to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical SAP support and advice to the finance team on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Be the focal point for all aspects of SoX and other Financial Audit related activities from an SAP Wales perspective.
  • Work on opportunities to eliminate waste, simplify processes, and implement fixes within SAP FICO.
  • Provide various data extracts and artifacts from SAP to auditors as needed.
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with substantial technical experience in the SAP Finance Module.
  • Experience in implementing technical requirements in SAP through working with ABAP teams for customisation efforts.
  • Experience with user access, roles, and responsibilities management in SAP FI.
  • Prior experience of working with auditors at advanced levels and external on SAP financial controls, best practices, and implementation of such controls.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA etc.).
  • Knowledge of best practice governance, risk management, and compliance in a large enterprise.
