We are seeking an exceptional Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Surrey. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team and ensuring the IT infrastructure is maintained in line with PCI DSS and ITIL guidelines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing people management of a small remote team
  • Capacity planning
  • Resolving 3rd line support issues for key business systems
  • Proactively managing the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime
  • Developing and maintaining IT procedural/process documentation in line with PCI DSS and ITIL requirements
  • Maintaining a viable IT Business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure
  • Mentoring junior support staff
  • Assisting in system capacity planning
  • Constantly reviewing the current IT infrastructure and proposing improvements
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining key IT systems
  • Building and maintaining a secure network

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a small team in Surrey
  • Travel to Leeds occasionally
  • Work with our customers to improve their financial well-being

We offer a competitive salary with annual bonus, 3% flexible benefits, and a free shuttle bus from Leeds City Centre.

You will need to evidence a track record in delivering IT Infrastructure projects across a range of technologies, ability to operate independently, and software knowledge in areas such as Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and VMware.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of security technologies and the ability to support regulatory compliance.
