Electromagnetic Compatibility Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility Design Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As an EMC Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our products, from design to delivery.

About the Role

This is a 2-year graduate programme starting in September 2025, offering a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electromagnetic compatibility. You will work closely with our experienced EMC team to design, test, and validate our products, ensuring they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electromagnetic compatible products, including missiles, subsystems, and equipment
  • Conduct electromagnetic compatibility testing and analysis, using our state-of-the-art EMC Test Facility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EMC requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain EMC documentation, including test reports and design specifications

Requirements
  • Degree qualified in an EMC-related field, such as Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility principles and standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
