Are you a passionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful contribution to education? We are seeking a skilled teaching assistant to join our vibrant primary school community at Long Term Futures Ltd in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

About the Role:
  • Support the class teacher in designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop strategies for supporting pupils with SEN or EAL, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to pupils requiring additional help, using evidence-based approaches to foster academic growth and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging active participation from all pupils.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, providing regular updates to the teacher and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with SEN or EAL pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external specialists.

Salary: £92-£106 per day
