Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to manage and resolve cybersecurity tickets, taking the lead on high-priority security incidents, managing associated investigations, and providing expert advice and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve cybersecurity tickets
  • Take the lead on high-priority security incidents
  • Manage associated investigations
  • Provide expert advice and reporting

Requirements:

  • Subject matter expert in Cyber Security
  • Good understanding of IT-related laws and regulations
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft security toolset
  • Proactive planning and ability to meet objectives with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills to explain the complexities of Cyber Security at all levels

About the Role:

This role is remote working with occasional on-site presence in Glasgow. The successful candidate will have experience in DevSecOps positions for a leading Cloud Service Provider and experience in an outsourced or SIAM IT environment.

What We Offer:

Venesky-Brown's client offers a competitive rate of £450-£500/day (inside IR35) and the opportunity to work with a public sector organisation.
