We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Victoria ACH. The successful candidate will be part of a well-established consultant cardiologist team, providing expert care to patients with a range of cardiology conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive consultant services, including inpatient and outpatient care, as agreed with colleagues and determined by service demand.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cardiology services, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in the out-of-hours and weekend on-call commitment, covering the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
- Undertake imaging sessions, focusing on out-patient trans-thoracic echocardiography, with the option to perform stress echocardiography or trans-oesophageal echocardiography if appropriately trained.
- Engage in vetting of GP referrals and participate in a new cardiology interface care rota for daytime unscheduled care.
