Residential Childcare Leader

Seeking a dedicated Residential Childcare Leader to join our team at Swyft Recruitment. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in a 2 bedded EBD setting.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker with a passion for supporting children and young people to lead our residential childcare team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home and delivering exceptional care to our young people.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential childcare, ideally with experience of working in a 2 bedded EBD setting. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, young people, and external agencies.

• Ensure that shifts are planned and coordinated effectively to meet the needs of the young people.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans and updates.
• Produce accurate reports and documentation using our paperless systems.
• Review and update care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

• A level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• A full manual driving license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

This is a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive salary package, we offer a range of benefits including:
