About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Hazel Grove High School. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, kitchen, and toilet areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, kitchen, and toilet areas.
  • Use equipment, machinery, and cleaning materials effectively and efficiently to carry out duties.
  • Check and report any faults with equipment, machinery, or the building itself to the on-site supervisor or Area Manager.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with any minor queries or complaints.
  • Participate in staff training programs and carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority's Health and Safety Policy.
