ERTMS Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Railway Safety Trainer to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As ERTMS Expert, you will be responsible for managing ERTMS safety critical training and competency within Rail Services.

• Ensure effective systems are in place to manage freight and artisan's competencies.
• Co-ordinate training and re-certification of artisans and freight Drivers.
• Maintain the staff competency data base.
• Develop training and assessment documentation.
• Assist with Technical, Safety & incident investigations as required.
• Analyses, forecast, plan and monitor the competency management system.

• A widely experienced railway person with an excellent knowledge of freight operation.
• Comprehensive knowledge in rail industry standards relating to ERTMS including operational safety, and Health & Safety legislation.
• Hold Trainer, Assessor Qualifications.
• Be willing to undertake further training as the post dictates.
• Excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
• Have excellent IT skills. Experience in administration organisation.
