About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to machine efficiency and development programmes using existing maintenance programmes and CI methodologies.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify and implement action plans to prevent reoccurring faults.
  • Perform risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician in a busy, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a suitable discipline and ideally educated to HNC level.
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, with a focus on mechanical bias.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as servicing and repair of gearboxes and other large mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in workshop skills, including welding, fabrication, and use of workshop equipment.
