The Role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead our tax team in a fast-growing US listed Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a broad range of tax matters, interacting with the wider finance team, commercial team, and advisors.

This role will assist in all tax matters affecting the Group, ensuring a good standard of tax compliance and reporting. As a Tax Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Tax and be responsible for managing the tax structure of the Group.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage tax compliance and reporting for the Group, including working with advisors to deliver global corporate tax compliance and tax accounting disclosures.
  • Lead the implementation of global group tax planning and transfer pricing strategies.
  • Assist in key decisions and provide advice on tax matters affecting the business on a UK and international level.

Required Skills

  • ACA or CTA qualified, with at least 3 years of experience (PQE).
  • Experience of tax compliance and reporting, particularly in the UK and US.
  • Experience of working with multinational groups, including compliance, reporting, and tax issues affecting them.
  • Awareness of VAT & Employment Tax matters, including cross-border issues.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Experience of Transfer Pricing, particularly documentation.
