Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team in Stallingborough. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, supporting colleagues in delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing care plans, ensuring they are regularly updated and in line with individual needs and preferences.
  • Lead and manage a team, offering guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC guidelines.
  • Work closely with other Home From Home Care departments to ensure a holistic approach to each individual's care and support.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, and external professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for individuals and colleagues.
  • Address any concerns or complaints, ensuring swift resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Lead adult care worker, Level 3 or working towards.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a residential care setting, preferably with adults with learning disabilities.
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
