Job Title: Family Solicitor - NQ Position

We are seeking a dedicated and highly driven Newly Qualified Family Law Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our Family & Children Department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members, managing and supervising Trainee Solicitors and Caseworkers, and assisting with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong management skills, excellent client care skills, and the ability to deal with vulnerable client matters in a sensitive manner. They will also have excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to department director
  • Responsible for all aspects of Family & Children Law work
  • Manage and supervise Trainee Solicitors and Caseworkers
  • Assist with delivery of appropriate training and development in the department
  • Deal with a range of Family & Children work, including divorce, financial disputes, and remedies
Requirements:
  • Committed and highly driven
  • Must have a clean, valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying
  • Registered with the Law Society and Family Panel or otherwise willing to work towards becoming a Panel member
  • Strong management skills
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
