About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Unit Manager to oversee and manage the catering services at our prestigious private hospital. As the Catering Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring that all food safety, nutritional, and dietary standards are met.

  • You will lead a dedicated catering team, manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital kitchen, and ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsibilities include menu planning, food preparation, meal service, and stock control, as well as budgeting and cost-effectiveness.
  • You will also ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards, including HACCP and COSHH, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential for this role.
  • A proven track record of experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or hospitality setting, is required.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, COSHH, and dietary requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Budget management experience and an ability to work within financial constraints.
