Event Porter

Elite Venue Selection is seeking a skilled Event Porter to join our team at The Palace Hotel.

About the Role:

We are looking for a professional and friendly individual to provide exceptional guest service and support for conferences, meetings, and special events. As an Event Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of events, including setting up and maintaining event spaces, serving food and beverages, and providing general support to our events team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent guest service and ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
• Set up and maintain event spaces, including tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, including catering and bar services.
• Provide general support to the events team, including running errands and completing tasks as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the success of events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
