Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Master to lead our kitchen team in Leicestershire, UK. As a key member of our Compass Group UK & Ireland team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food that exceeds our customers' expectations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. You will be expected to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented in an appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets our customers' expectations
    • Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety guidelines
  • Menu Planning and Implementation
    • Plan and implement menus that meet customer demands and preferences
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff management and training
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and serviced regularly
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar culinary role
  • Proven track record in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
