Care Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team within a luxury care home in Lancaster. This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 8am to 8pm on a two-week rolling rota.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Deputy Manager and Home Manager to ensure the safe running of the home. You will be the first point of contact for senior carers and care assistants, monitoring and observing the care being provided, giving additional support, training, and supervision when required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team, including leading meetings, providing positive feedback to staff, and being a role model for the team within the home
- Managing rotas to ensure they are fully staffed and there is a good skill mix
- Communicating effectively with the home's management team, ensuring that all concerns are dealt with quickly and promptly
