HVAC System Engineer Job Description

At Segula Technologies, we are seeking a skilled HVAC System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and integrating HVAC systems, as well as providing technical solutions and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate HVAC systems into overall client design
  • Review and update system documentation, formulating mechanical, electrical, nuclear safety, and control logic requirements
  • Analyze and verify input data, requirements, and lessons learned from other stations
  • Sizing of components, performing thermal hydraulic calculation and modeling
  • Support procurement team in formulation of technical specification and supplier surveillance
  • Manage requests for modifications to systems, checking their applicability
  • Develop and present technical solutions suitable for all impacted disciplines
  • Solve technically challenging and multi-disciplinary open points in a timely proactive manner
  • I&C design of systems, including applying engineering rules, defining functional requirements, and using I&C tools
  • Participate in preparation of commissioning strategy of systems

Qualifications:
  • Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • 3+ years' experience of process engineering
  • Relevant experience in the nuclear industry
  • Ability to effectively manage own workload, produce high-quality documents, and respect deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and orally, in English
