Motor Vehicle Technician

The Institute of the Motor Industry limited seeks a skilled Workshop Fitter to join its team in Batley. This is a permanent contract after completing a 12-week temp to perm contract, with overtime paid at a premium rate.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting various mechanical components to vehicles, including steps, roller shutters, metal cabinets, drawers, etc. Full training will be provided, and salary reviews will be applied to reflect the level of work being performed.
Duties of the Workshop Fitter role:
- Fitting mechanical components using hand tools and following basic drawings and instructions.
- Working with metal and plastic materials.
- Maintaining accurate measurement and drilling skills.
