MSK Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our team at HMP Preston and HMP Kirkham. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations.

This is a part-time role, working 8 hours a week at each prison. You will be part of a forward-thinking, innovative health care team, delivering high-quality, best practice treatment. You will also form part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team.

• Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
• Play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' care following our policies, procedures, and always considering safeguarding.
• Promote best practice, evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.

• Physio qualification
• HCPC registered
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team working skills
• Good IT skills
• Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner

We offer a competitive salary of up to £47,250 per annum pro rata depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative team, delivering high-quality care to patients.

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
