Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and fire alarm systems across the South West region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain electrical and fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks and report findings to clients
  • Liaise with client site teams regarding building service issues and provide technical guidance where required
  • Compile and submit detailed reports and documentation as specified by regulatory requirements
  • Attend site meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry developments and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times and promote a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other Mitie disciplines to provide comprehensive services and meet client needs

Requirements:

  • Hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation and maintenance
  • Possess City & Guilds 2356 Part 1 & 2, City & Guilds 2357, BS 7671 Electrical Regulations 18th Edition certifications
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions
  • Possess a valid Full UK Driving Licence and show willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces
