Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Various locations within the M1/A1 Corridor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Bellrock Property and Facilities Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks, gas and plumbing refurbishment, and providing recommendations to rectify faults and maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and reactive trade-related maintenance tasks within your area of expertise and skills set.
  • Undertake gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks, including testing work on completion.
  • Order supplier parts via purchase order line.
  • Manage van stock as required.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as designated.
  • Provide recommendations and solution options to rectify faults and maintenance issues.
  • Take measurements, estimate labor, and identify material requirements for follow-on works via the red reporting system.
Requirements:
  • Domestic and Commercial Gas ACS qualifications - essential.
  • Basic competency in using technology, email, and internal software systems.
  • Full driving license - essential.
  • Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and environmental legislation and working practices - essential.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) - essential.
  • Ability to cover emergency call-outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis).
