At Mactech Energy Group, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. This is a full-time, long-term contract opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement.

About the Role:

We are working on one of the UK's premier construction projects, which will consist of building two ERFPs and significantly contribute to the country's future energy independence. The joint Design Office (JDO) has been established to reinforce the HPC site-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for the HPC project
  • Collaborate with the JDO team to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications and documentation

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

•⁠ ⁠Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the renewable energy sector

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles
