We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive growth.

You will be accountable for margin management, on-site testing, and building strong relationships with customers. This role requires a high level of travel across the UK, with regular early starts and late finishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending customer meetings, negotiating contracts, and upgrading customers to new products
  • Delivering your own GP and volume growth
  • Developing accounts, selling more to existing customers, and getting more sites onboard
  • Providing quotes, negotiating terms, and loading visit notes on CRM
  • Booking meetings, preparing notes, and doing quotes
  • Following up on previous meetings and booking travel arrangements
Requirements:
  • Formal sales training and at least 5 years of sales experience
  • Good geographical understanding to plan travel
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Comfortable in a 360° role with administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • A degree and some grounding in chemistry are beneficial
What We Offer:
  • Salary: £40-45k basic with a bonus based on YOY GP growth
