**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Reading area. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have experience of NEC contracts and a strong understanding of civil engineering construction processes and procedures.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 negotiable based on experience.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an excellent pension scheme and generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to maximise income from the works
  • Preventing and resolving disagreements with suppliers and clients
  • Producing project financial forecasts and reports
  • Subcontractor procurement and management

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A surveying degree or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience of NEC contracts
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Competence in civil engineering construction processes and procedures
