Palliative Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a key member of our Marie Curie team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with terminal illnesses and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one care to patients in their own homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication management, and symptom control.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided.
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- 6 months of care delivery experience in a health or social care environment.
- Current valid driving license and use of a car insured for business use.
- Emotional strength and ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills.
