Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will be a key member of our engineering team, located at Exsel's Worcestershire site. The role involves project delivery, service provision, and product development, with a focus on the electrical aspects of projects. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary and multi-site engineering team to deliver complete solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and engineering assessments
  • Participate in the performance review process and identify development areas and strengths
  • Hold and document regular design reviews
  • Participate in continuous professional development
  • Ability to be flexible and work outside core hours on occasion
  • Travel to other Exsel group sites and occasional overseas travel may be required
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Confident application of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Produce block diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Qualified and competent in testing and inspection to City & Guilds
  • Experience of integrating electrical, and electrical systems
