About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager for Group GNFR to join our Procurement Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and quality of GNFR products and services to maximize quality and profitability. Your primary focus will be on forming and maintaining strong relationships with current suppliers while exploring new opportunities to ensure GNFR is procured at the lowest price for the relevant specification. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: * Support the delivery of all business unit and operations requirements by ensuring availability and quality of all GNFR requirements, including packaging, utilities, MHE, waste, and services. * Deliver agreed KPIs for service availability, margin, incremental savings, quality non-conformances. * Continuously review the sourcing strategy to provide new, innovative, and improved products and suppliers within the category scope, exceeding customer expectations while driving cost out of existing products, vendors, and supply chains. * Manage the tender process for all GNFR to ensure the lowest prices are being paid and new contracts are live on time. * Communicate with suppliers and other elements of the supply chain to enable them to deliver effectively. * Support the control of stock in conjunction with the packaging manager, liaising with internal and external operations teams to deliver the lowest cost supply route to market. * Provide the business with a forward projection of supply to enable effective business planning. * Administer the buying process, GSCOP records, price confirmation, processing of claims, and liaising with administrators to ensure weekly and month-end processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner. * Utilize and be experienced with market analysis and insight tools to identify opportunities, analyze performance, and validate decisions. * Drive the delivery of a culture that promotes a strategy that is effective, consistent, and efficient, leveraging best practices. What We Are Looking For: * A motivated, self-directed individual with strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others. * Buying experience in packaging, utilities, GNFR, with a demonstrable record of accomplishment of cost-saving procurement solutions implemented. * A certification on the ethics and legality of product supply and negotiation would be advantageous but not essential. * Intermediate Excel skills. * High attention to detail. * Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
