Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our Bright Flex team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and promoting their development towards key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, including planning and implementing engaging and educational activities for children
  • Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment, and to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, and to work in different nursery settings
