We are a leading provider of expert professionals in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Our client, a renowned British retail, sport, and intellectual property group, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Job OverviewThis role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to work with one of the world's most iconic brands. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our client offers a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, life insurance, and a generous holiday allowance.
Key Responsibilities- To provide cost management and financial control throughout the project lifecycle
- To develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve optimal value for money
- To negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- To manage and maintain accurate records of project costs, expenses, and revenues
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
