Job Summary:

Cbwstaffingsolutions is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for carrying out gas PPM works, boiler installations, gas testing, and reacting to breakdowns on a wide range of gas-fired and heating appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems, including boilers, burners, and hot water systems.
  • Conduct gas testing and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Respond to breakdowns and faults on commercial gas appliances, using technical skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Work on a variety of sites, including hospitals, prisons, and universities, to install, maintain, and repair commercial gas systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • ACS Commercial Gas certification, including COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1, and TPCP1A.
  • Strong technical skills and extensive experience in commercial gas fault-finding and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel to various sites.
  • Disclosure/Police checks required.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary, circa £44,500.
  • Door-to-door travel paid.
  • 30 days holiday, including public holidays.
  • 39-hour week, with overtime paid after hours.
