About this Opportunity: We're seeking a Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive mainstream primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Students: Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized plans for students with special educational needs.">
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive support system for students with special educational needs.">
  • Assisting Teachers: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.">
  • Discrete Trials Training: Participate in Discrete Trials Training to develop skills in teaching specific skills to students with autism.">
  • Developing Adaptations: Develop and implement adaptations to lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.">
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.">

Requirements:

  • Certification: Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.">
  • Experience: Proven experience working with children or in a school setting.">
  • Needs Experience: Demonstrated ability to support students with special educational needs.">
