Electrical and Electronic Engineering Graduate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate to join our team at Mobile Technical Staff in Hayes, Middlesex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, development, and delivery of electrical and electronic aspects of our product and technology roadmap.
  • Maintain awareness of current and future display technologies.
  • Support the development of value-engineered products, evaluating quality vs cost and design for manufacture.
  • Provide after-sales customer support, including rapid assessment and diagnostics of product faults and liaison with clients on resolution.
  • Work closely with the technical team to support sales and production with technical solutions, cost inputs, and documentation packages.
  • Support prototype and trial builds.
  • Assist with product approval processes, liaising with external approval authorities to ensure products meet legislative and customer-specific requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • Electronic and electrical design experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Understanding of quality management systems.
  • Ability to comprehend commercial pressures driving down cost and lead-time.
  • Understanding of PC operating systems.
  • Excellent root cause analysis methodology.
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication.
  • Expertise in electro-mechanical systems for harsh environments.
  • Expertise in thermal management and heat exchange systems.
  • Manufacturing engineering knowledge.
