Job Title: Combustion Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Combustion Engineer to join our team at HMP The Mount, a Category C & men's prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the prison.

About the Role:
  • Work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues to maintain and repair heating systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements, as well as Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry Standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements to our facilities and services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our facilities and equipment, including commercial catering gas appliances.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our colleagues and prisoners, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
