About the Role

White Label Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Shipley to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop mechanical design concepts for products and solutions.
  2. Document design assumptions, trade-offs, and calculations.
  3. Apply Failure Mode Effect and Analysis techniques to identify technical risks.
  4. Collaborate with project managers to plan design activities.
  5. Capture project technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Provide technical support for product manuals and SOPs.
  7. Adopt New Product Development processes and tools.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of design engineering experience in machinery or rotating equipment.
  2. Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
What We Offer
  1. A salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
  2. 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  3. Working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 14:00 on Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
  4. Pension.
