SATs Support Specialist Required

Riley Personnel is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Hackney. As a SATs Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting Year 6 students in their SATs preparation. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support, focusing on Maths, Reading, and Writing.

About the Role

You will collaborate with the class teacher to implement targeted intervention plans, develop and deliver differentiated learning materials, and provide academic and emotional support to students. This role demands a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to Year 6 students, focusing on SATs preparation.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement targeted intervention plans.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of differentiated learning materials.
  • Support students with diverse needs, including SEN, where possible.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a Year 6 or Key Stage 2 setting.
  • Familiarity with SATs curriculum and the ability to provide effective intervention support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
