We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of employees, the environment, and the overall operational excellence of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective SHEQ management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on SHEQ-related matters, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and control measures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on SHEQ-related topics and promote a culture of safety and sustainability.

Requirements
- Minimum of Level 3 NEBOSH National General Certificate.
- Proven experience in managing or operating under an effective and comprehensive SHEQ management system in an industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of safety ownership and a commitment to creating a SHEQ-first culture.
