Mobile Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out on-site repairs, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and fault finding on plant equipment.
  • Perform routine services on plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and rollers.
  • Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Provide solutions to customer queries on site.
  • Liaise with the parts department to ensure your van is fully stocked at all times.
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work.
  • Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Benefits:
  • Up to £47k salary DOE + overtime at an additional rate.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, or Service Engineer. An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is not essential, but we welcome applications from engineers with time-served experience in this industry.
